Overview of the experimental setup.
(a) Experiment in top view: With dichroic mirrors beams for the optical dipole trap, MOTs for each species, the optical lattice for Cs, and an optical pumping beam for Rb are overlapped. A CCD camera resembles the position of the cold atoms which is useful for the initial alignment of the dipole trap and the optical lattice to the position of the Cs MOT.
